How do I add a recipe?

You can add a recipe in three ways: create it manually, scan it from a photo, or paste recipe text from the clipboard.

How do I scan a recipe?

You can scan a recipe from the camera or from your photo library. If the full recipe does not fit in a single image, you can scan it in multiple passes and continue adding content instead of relying on just one scan.

Does the app fill in the recipe name automatically?

Yes. When you scan recipe text, CipeLume may fill in the recipe name automatically, but you can always change the name before saving or edit it later.

How does search work?

Search is based on the search words saved with each recipe. These words can be taken from the recipe title, and you can also edit them manually when updating a recipe.

How do I change the order of my recipes?

In My Recipes, long press a tile and drag it to a new position. Your updated order is saved so your recipes appear in that order the next time you open the app as well.

How do I delete my account?

Open the account menu from the top-right user icon, then choose Delete account. Deleting your account also deletes your recipes.

How do I reset my password?

Use the “Forgot password?” action in the email sign-in screen and follow the reset link sent to your inbox.

Why did recipe scanning fail?

Scanning can fail if the image is blurry, the text is incomplete, or the content is not recognized as a food recipe.
